Jimi Kiner

Jimi Kiner has been the head coach of Greater Tampa Swimming Association since 2001.   During his illustrious swimming career at The University of Tampa (1997-2001) he was a 22 time All-American, including a National Championship in the 100 Breaststroke (55.49) in 2000.  His Breaststroke time remained a school record until this past season (2009).  In 2000 Jimi represented GTSA at the United States Olympic Trials.

            As coach of GTSA Jimi has taken many swimmers to Junior Olympics, Senior Championships, as well as national level meets.  He also is the Assistant Coach at The University of Tampa. In his time at UT Jimi has coached many national champions and countless amounts of All-Americans.  He also really enjoys the time he spends working with the Masters/Triathlon team that he began in 2006

Ryan M Gober

Ryan has been coaching with Greater Tampa Swimming Association since 2005. He is originally from Augusta, GA where he swam under Jeff Rout for Greater Augusta Swimming (GAS), until 2002 when he started a successful career at the University of Tampa. Ryan also began his coaching career in Augusta, GA, becoming the head coach of CSP, a team in the CSRA summer league, in 2000 until 2004, leading the team to their only 3 CSRA League Championships in team history. Ryan also coaches The University of Tampa swim team spending most days with the IM groups. During his time at GTSA he has helped grow the developmental group into the strong group that it is today.
