Jimi Kiner
Head Senior Coach
Jimi Kiner has been the head coach of Greater Tampa Swimming Association since 2001. During his illustrious swimming career at The University of Tampa (1997-2001) he was a 22 time All-American, including a National Championship in the 100 Breaststroke (55.49) in 2000. His Breaststroke time remained a school record until this past season (2009). In 2000 Jimi represented GTSA at the United States Olympic Trials.
As coach of GTSA Jimi has taken many swimmers to Junior Olympics, Senior Championships, as well as national level meets. He also is the Assistant Coach at The University of Tampa. In his time at UT Jimi has coached many national champions and countless amounts of All-Americans. He also really enjoys the time he spends working with the Masters/Triathlon team that he began in 2006
